Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Quicken Accounting ("we") collects for QuickenERP, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, company, e-mail address, phone number and country, given at signup.
- Billing details: invoices, payments and bank transfer proofs you upload. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we only keep a reference to the saved card (brand and last digits), never the full number.
- Usage counts: once an hour your database tells us the number of users and companies and its size. This is used for billing and to keep it healthy; it contains no business records.
- Support messages you send us in the support chat.
- Technical logs such as sign-in times and IP addresses, to protect the service against abuse (for example repeated signups).
2. Your business data
Everything you enter in your database (customers, invoices, products, employees...) is yours. We process it only to host the service for you. We do not read it, sell it or use it for advertising. Our staff open your database only when you ask for help and your administrator allows support login; each support login is listed in your database.
3. Why we use your data
- to create and run your database and send you service e-mails (verification, invoices, reminders);
- to bill you and keep our accounts, as the law requires;
- to answer support questions;
- to protect the service and our customers.
4. Who else handles data
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf: the hosting company of our servers, our payment provider (card payments), our e-mail delivery provider, and the backup storage provider. If you connect messaging channels (such as WhatsApp or SMS) in your database, the messages go through that provider under its own terms. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Your database: while you are a customer; if it stays read-only for 90 days it is deleted, and its final backup is removed 30 days later.
- Regular backups: kept for the retention period of our backup plan, then removed automatically.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as accounting law requires.
6. Security
Each customer has a separate database. Access is protected by passwords, signed internal messages and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Administrators of a customer database cannot run technical code on our servers.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, its correction, or its deletion, and you can export your business data at any time. Ask through the support chat or our contact details; we answer within 30 days.
8. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work: your session, and your chosen country and product so the site shows the right prices.
9. Changes
We update this policy when the service changes and show the date of the last update above.
